A Spectacular Celebration at Pyrgos Melissourgou, in Athens

Nathalie and Edward had a dreamy June destination wedding in Athens, and we are over the moon to share it with you.

The celebration was intricately planned, and no detail was omitted, making up for a day that will be remembered forever. Their union resembled a scene from a fairytale since every element carried a little bit of magic with itself. Beginning with the choice of venue to incorporating delicate wedding decorations, the whole event was an ethereal experience!

A Dreamy Venue with a Historical Touch

When Nathalie and Edward looked at venues, they had an idea of stunning wedding scenery with a touch of historical allure. After quite a bit of research, they opted for Pyrgos Melissourgou since the place offered everything they had imagined. The opulence of greenery and a fairytale castle in the background were features that gave this couple the union of their dreams.

They wanted their destination wedding in Athens to tell a unique story – one they will remember for the rest of their lives. And the perfect beginning of it starts with an astounding building known as one of the oldest Greek residences. It was the perfect setting for a large Mediterranean wedding with hints of elegance and sophistication.

The pool, which has lake-like features, created a romantic ambiance and completed the extravagant style of the celebration. It was the ideal location to depict the exquisiteness of the Athenian Riviera while providing the perfect sense of intimacy. The venue gave the feeling as if you were detached from the whole world but could still enjoy the country’s beauty.

Traditional and Romantic Ceremony in an Orthodox Church

Nathalie and Edward wanted an orthodox destination wedding in Athens, so they decided to say their “I do’s” in a Greek church. Their ceremony was intimate and quite emotional. They had some subtle bridal details down the aisle, but the church’s beauty predominated and completed the whole setting. The ceremony portrayed the couple’s true love, and the atmosphere did not leave the guests indifferent. There were a lot of smiles, including some happy tears as well.

Since our lovely couple wanted a perfect blend of traditional and contemporary, the church provided them with exactly what they imagined. They have always dreamed of getting married in Athens, Greece, and their dream came true in the most stunning surroundings.

Dreamy Wedding Attire

A fairytale-like celebration calls for fairytale-like bridal attire. Our beautiful bride wore a gorgeous princess wedding gown with a majestic train enriched with royal features. The groom matched this stunning look in a handsome black and white tuxedo. The bridesmaids also wore elegant dresses to blend in with the spectacular surroundings. Nathalie and Edward paid attention even to the tiniest details to achieve the fabulous look they wanted for their destination wedding at Pyrgos Melissourgou.

Awe-Inspiring Bridal Decor with a Dose of Magic

Lavishness and elegance are not enough words to describe this extraordinary destination wedding in Athens. Nathalie and Edward wanted sophistication but in a subtle manner. Therefore, they decided on delicate decorations complemented by the magnificent Pyrgos Melissourgou views.

The dominant color of their outdoor wedding in Athens was white with gold elements that created a harmonious flow. Additionally, the couple decided on white floral arrangements as centerpieces matched with romantic candles and delicate tableware. The tables on the lavishly green lawn looked perfect, covered with numerous sparkling fairy lights. Simply put, the ambiance was ethereal, especially when the sun went down.

However, they did not want the magic to stop there – we included a majestic bridal arch with white flowers at the entrance. In addition, the path was ornamented with glorious crystal chandeliers by the sides. The idea was for the guests to feel as if they were entering a different world as they arrived at Nathalie and Edward’s Pyrgos Melissourgou wedding.

Furthermore, there were a lot of authentic details that made this bridal celebration in Greece unique. Their welcome sign included the whole union program, so the guests knew exactly what to expect at every moment. Moreover, they wanted a hard liquor station with whiskey kinds from different regions. The attendees who enjoy fine whiskey were impressed by this celebration detail.

Wondrous Reception with an Amazing Atmosphere

Nathalie and Edward wanted everything included in their destination wedding in Athens. So, their reception was preceded by a pleasant cocktail hour in which the guests could enjoy a good beverage and mingle. The couple used this time to take some splendid photographs at sunset and later joined their family and friends.

For the reception, Nathalie and Edward wanted a real celebration. They wanted to remember their big day by dancing, laughing, and sharing memories. That said, they opted for a destination wedding with a live show. The couple included traditional music with belly dancers. It was an impressive performance that everyone enjoyed!

Once it got dark, the venue’s allure became even more romantic and exceptional. The hanging lights created a dreamy setting which contributed to the love energy spread by Nathalie and Edward. It was perfect for their first dance as well as for the emotional speeches by the couple’s close friends and family members. During the speeches, there were a lot of emotions and happy tears that turned into amazing memories.

The celebration continued with a wonderful spirit – no guest was sitting down because everyone took advantage of the spacious dance floor. For us, it was the ideal opportunity for creating framed memories that would last a lifetime!

Being part of Nathalie and Edward’s destination wedding in Athens was pure bliss. Having the chance to plan such an astonishing celebration is a unique experience. However, working with this amazing couple was even more joyful. They made everything easy and let elegance and love narrate their Mediterranean wedding. This opportunity was a true honor, and we will always be grateful to Nathalie and Edward for trusting us with their special day!
