An elegant boho wedding at the grand Peninsula of Athenian Riviera

Hadiel and Marcel had a very specific vision about their wedding day: To have a ceremony just before the Greek sunset and enjoy cocktails right after.

Then, to step in the dinner area which should feel like being on a boat sailing into the Greek sea. Too much to ask? No, since there is the perfect place for this and this is actually right here in Athens, Greece.

Why did they choose Greece?

They chose Greece for the magnificent sunsets, the great food, the famous Greek hospitality and the love for Cycladic islands such as Santorini and Mykonos.

The location: Grand Resort Lagonisi in Athenian Riviera

Nuzzled in a private peninsula in the Athenian Riviera with stunning views to the Saronic Gulf, the 5 star Grand Resort Lagonissi met all their expectations of a luxury and romantic wedding in Greece. Its dreamy ambience stole their heart from the very first moment and all the rest fell into place with the most fluent and natural way. The magical setting, overlooking the Argosaronic Gulf, offered the perfect backdrop to exchange their eternal vows and the ethereal flower arch we created, infused the romantic notion that complemented a majestic ceremony. After the symbolic ceremony, guests enjoyed their cocktails on the wooden deck while the couple had a most amazing photo session with their wedding photographer.

The dinner decoration with asymmetrical elegant pampas grass and orchids

For the dinner tables we used neutral, earthy tones such as beige and the sand color. The centerpieces were vases with geometric details that transfused a modern aspect without disturbing the romantic feel. The bride brought us dinner napkins with their logo printed on them, a so cute detail, that everyone noticed. You could see Hadiel and Marcel in all pieces of the wedding decoration and this was what made this wedding in Greece, so exceptional.

RPS Highlights:

  • The round ceremony arch, composed by a selection of exquisite florals such as orchids, pampas grass, eucalyptus, buttercups, garden roses
  • The seating board which was an big antique mirror adorned with an elegant flower garland
  • The geometrical golden flower holders on the dinner tables
  • The golden accents such as the flatware
  • The giant, 5 layered wedding cake

Why hire a graphics designer for your wedding in Greece

Many couples struggle to take a decision if they should hire a graphics designer or not. Not only there is a plethora on the internet of invitations, name cards, favours, tags, signs but also seems really simple and less expensive.

We wouldn’t argue on that since sometimes it is really convenient for couples who try to sort the wedding preparation out on their own. Of course they won’t have a custom design but at the end of the day this is not the most important thing on a wedding.

What is really important though is to not to implicate yourselves into stressful procedures especially on the days that are close to your big wedding day.

Changing names, adding favors, find the right frames, easels or stands for the signs can add tremendous logistics which it’s not easy to consider beforehand, especially on a destination wedding. A Greek wedding planner walks hand in hand with the graphics designer from the beginning until the last day before the event. This cooperation is the backbone of the consistency between all elements of your Greek wedding. Visit our services page for more!
