Colorful baptism at Island Art and Taste by RPS Events

The lovely Gallery at Island Art and Taste was the perfect canvass for the ceremony of Christening of our beautiful little Nefeli – Chionia.

Her parents both with great style wanted a small gathering for the absolutely loved ones but with great attention on all details. We don’t plan too many christenings every year, but when we do, we make sure they’re so distinct as this one.

Christening at Island Art and Taste

It’s always best for parents as well as guests when they pick a venue where the church is also inside the premises. It saves your guests a lot of time and of course you get to enjoy more your loved ones as they’re present at all times. The chapel at Gallery venue of Island Art and Taste has a unique Cliffside view and it’s one of the best for small and intimate ceremonies. The whole baptism set and invitation suite as well as the unique favours were all designed and created by Party and Co that was all assorted with our watercolour theme. Small details like the box and candle were all consistent to our theme. The garland though hanging down from the church bell is what really took our breath away.

Christening theme and mood board

We work very close with all our vendors to make sure that the theme is followed at all points. Drafting an idea and following up with a mood board is the first thing we do. Then we need to make sure that we have all the right vendors to create the mood we initially drafted. So for the tables setup we used all available pastel coloured charger plates and of course breathed life into our tables with some real flower assortments by our favourite florist Pavlos the Flower Workshop. And when the night falls, we made sure everyone still enjoyed their dinner with the starry sky created with fairy lights by Loud and Clear.

Creating a dessert table for your baptism

Making sure you have the right quantity in desserts, the right space on the furniture used as well as the right flatware to show off your desserts is a set of skills that takes a lot of time to consider actually. However, getting into an outcome like this dessert is something we loved doing. We worked closely with all our vendors so to make sure that our concept is aligned with their vision and to be able to finally come up with this exquisite result.

Hiring professional entertainers for kids

A baptism is the definition of an event organized for kids too. In addition, when parents can enjoy their meals in full peace, this is because a team of professionals is dedicated on kids’ entertainment too. Being able to cover all ages with different games and many activities is a step closer to a successful christening and a wedding, too. You can read all about it here.
