“Our goal was to capture the colours of the nature in this wild part of Crete, showing how beautiful it is in all seasons. We wanted to create a scenery of the less traditional sort. This is why we chose unexpected materials like fur paired with mismatched wooden stools and chairs for the ceremony area. “Pavlos The flower Workshop” crafted a masterpiece on the beach and brought dusty pink and popping orange blooming delights to the ceremony arch. The pampas grass was paired with soft earthy tones of flowers like the astilbe and the amaranth to create a wild yet refined and assimilated to the surroundings of beige, terra cotta and sea colour palette.
The ceremony gown is the “Vivienne” wedding dress from the VKK Haute Couture collection. The net-lacy bodice with V-heart neckline compliments the bust. The rich A-line feather skirt moves with the body in motion and you will be able to enjoy more of it in our short video trailer. A gorgeous pair of baby pink patent Jimmy Choo’s beautifully complete this contemporary, yet elegant look.
The groom, beautifully styled by It’s a MAN’s Class, opted for an eye-catching cream tailor-made tuxedo jacket with contrasting shawl lapel combined with black dress pants both by Giannetos, providing a crisp update to the classic formal wear. The perfectly tailored white dress shirt by Christakis, the stunning 100% bespoke black Oxford shoes by Kwnstantinos and the effortless self-tie bow tie handsomely complement the groom’s timeless and sharp outfit.
Tradition was infused with local musicians from Crete, escorting our bride to be in the ceremony area and rhyming traditional “mantinades”/ wishes in forms of short poems, to our couple after their ceremony.
Our table was set next to the beach in a less rough scenery but according to our colours theme and unique elegance with special flatware and drinkware from White Lilac Rentals. It was infused with small details such as menus, table numbers and seating cards, all designed from LovemeDo that was also responsible for the design of the styled shoot’s invitation suite.
The party dress worn by our so elegant model, is the “Ellie” gown also from the VKK Haute Couture Collection. The “Ellie” dress is embroidered by hand with organza leaves and flowers. The V neckline and the short flower sleeves compliment the bust. You will get to enjoy this low back dress in all photos and video trailer.
The wedding cake designed by “The cakers” followed the whole concept, thus creating this unique black wedding cake accented with sugar made flowers of moody pink, dusty lavender, ethereal whites and muted shades of caramel that added the sweetest touch of luxe.
Our entire inspiration for this wedding styled shoot was based on the elegance that this wedding venue exudes and grows wild all around the beach area. The mixed coloured palette of blush pink, soft creamy white and black accents was like a calling to us from the very first moment we walked in this property”.
