Ariadne’s maze

Her name to be was our inspiration and the well-known myth our drive to design something truly unique.

According to Wikipedia: “ Ariadne (/ˌæriˈædni/; Greek: Ἀριάδνη; Latin: Ariadne) was a Cretan princess in Greek mythology. She was mostly associated with mazes and labyrinths because of her involvement in the myths of the Minotaur and Theseus.”

So the invitations we created had the main visual of a heart maze, and we even used the catch phrase on wrist bands with “aMAZEing” quotes. On the decorative part we used a lot of woolen threads to create centerpieces combined with our florals but also a unique installation on top of our dessert table. The desserts and their colors complemented it so well that everyone kept asking for more!

Finally we even customized the kids tables with big maze stickers and colorful pillows. We used a lot of krafts and games that built up the myth and educated kids in the best of ways.
