Wedding romance in the woods

One of the biggest tasks for us was to find the right venue. We knew from the start that we wanted the wedding to take place away from Athens just so we could spend more time with our friends and family.

So when we discovered this little chapel in the middle of the forest we instantly fell in love with it. It was the best location we could ever imagine. Our wish for our wedding was to have an amazing party where we can celebrate with our friends and family and in the end that’s all that matters! It was a “party” that lasted three days and the memories will be with us for a long long time.” We knew this wedding would be so much different from the very first day we went on the site inspection with our couple.

Both of them are really creative minds (Dimosthenis is a graphics designer and Elli is a great DIYer with a unique eye for fashion) and the design of the wedding was a true playground for all of us. The location, near to the groom’s hometown was a unique place up on the woods with a fantastic church and a huge yard around it for the dinner to take place. Colorful flowers, copper and wooden details were the unique setup for our guests to enjoy. To us offbeat locations are a true challenge but we managed this with a great group of vendors.

Words from the Bride

“I met Dimosthenis 8 years ago in Thessaloniki through common friends and we quickly became inseparable.3 years ago we moved to Germany. The proposal took place in Rome when I was least expecting itI actually did ask several times if it was what I thought just to avoid saying yes to the wrong question! Organising a wedding from 2000km away can be quite a task so we knew from the first moment that we would need the help of professionals. We had a very specific idea of what we wanted our wedding to look like and with the help of Paraskevi and the team of RPS this idea came to life.

Always thankful for our dear vendors:
