A French rustic wedding at Ktima 48, in Athens Riviera

A truly multi ethnic wedding with lots of trips and travelling in between and truly happy planning!

Words from our bride

After a beautiful Christmas in Athens, Greece, and welcoming the new year in Milan, Italy, we went to Paris, France… And Paris was…Paris. I think I fell in love all over again… On our last day in the city of lights, on the day of the Epiphany, Matthieu and I visited the Sacre Coeur, strolled around Montmartre, ticked off the Moulin Rouge and headed back to Le Marais to get ready for a superb dinner with Matthieu’s Mom. After a lovely evening, we reached La Bastille; then Matthieu and I went for a walk around the Port de Plaisance de Paris-Arsenal, a mooring for vessels. When we were crossing its bridge, we stopped for a bit and, just then, Matthieu proposed… I think my knees got all a bit wobbly as I didn’t expect it… As we were standing, holding hands, a man passed by us (he looked like a French Robert De Niro with a Santa Claus bearing), who then suddenly stopped and extended his arm towards us. Startled (hm, better yet, scared), I jumped back only to realize he was giving me a white rose… No, it was not staged… And, yes, I’m a hopeless romantic…
