It’s always a nice idea to combine a christening with the baby’s first birthday! Alex turned 1 on the day of his baptism and his mother thought of the amazing motto “One year of endless sunshine”.
The beach venue of Varkiza resort, right by the beach was the perfect canvass for our surf themed baptism. Our invitation suite of course set the right tone for this summer event, followed of course in seamless cohesion by all of our vendors. The bar served cocktails with customized glasses that read SURF & SUN and with small sharks and whales as a topping and unique fruity jello shots that made the whole difference to our guests.
Beach life was everywhere, and of course in our signature dessert table as well. Also on the dinner tables that had tall and short centerpieces made of pineapples. What stole our guests’ hearts though were the small favor jars that had a shark’s fin glued on top in different colors.
Finally, the kids’ area is very important especially in a baptism, since this day is mostly about the kids. So we decorated the space with kids furniture an area where the kids could eat and make crafts as part of the entertaining program but also decorated according to our concept as well with more surf vans and pineapples.
